We are going to walk the 49 mile drive intended for tourists in San Francisco. We’re tourists; we live in Oakland.

We thought today would make a good day to drive the 49 Mile Drive, for comparison purposes. So we set out for Civic Center and the starting point.

We parked the car at the top of Lake Merced, and walked all the way around the lake.

We parked the car at Stonestown, and took a bus back up Sunset to Noriega, and then walked back down to Lake Merced.
